The Opportunity:

win-OMT Software presents an exciting opportunity for an exceptional relationship builder to join their entrepreneurial Winnipeg team and assume the key role of Sales Associate. The successful candidate will be self-motivated with demonstrated experience and expertise in sales strategies/execution, complex software solutions, and excellent customer service. Located in Winnipeg, the Sales Associate reports directly to the Sales Manager and will enjoy a competitive benefit and remuneration package in a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Accountability for generating new business opportunities by performing the entire sales cycle including: research and analytics, email campaigns, telephone sales, securing face-to-face meetings, preparing proposals, closing contracts and providing diligent follow-up etc.
  • Coordinating, preparing for, and attending several key trade shows across North America per year.
  • Ensuring current clients receive excellent support, diligent follow-up and are aware of new solutions.
  • Building and maintaining long-term client relationships based on trust and integrity.

Selection Criteria Include:

  • Post-secondary education in business, marketing, creative or technical communications (or related).
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience and a consultative, solution focused methodology.
  • Technical aptitude with experience selling complex software or hardware solutions.
  • Above average written and oral communication skills and the ability to present in face-to-face sales presentations and at tradeshows.
  • Travel requirements include up to10 trips annually throughout North America.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to self-manage and drive results through innovative ideas.
  • Experience in the radio, T.V. or music industry is an asset.
  • Individuals who are bilingual in both official languages should clearly indicate so on their resumes.
